Here I am back in Auld Reekie (or Edinburgh to you) and getting back into my ‘normal’ life. Spent a week up north with our ‘golden oldies’ (older relatives to you) so while it was scorching hot I was inside and now I’m available for sunbathing, it’s been the wettest, stormiest July ever. No surprise there then! We had hailstones and torrential rain which leaked in a new part of the roof. But the countryside (or bush to some of you) is looking so lush and so bright green.
