Here are the views from my new verandah out in the bush (which seems to me to be the countryside). And at last it has stopped raining – only for a couple of days apparently, but at least it’s a break, so off to visit the neighbours’ pool and spa(!) today and catch up on some light tanning before the weather breaks again. The mountain in the distance, Mt Warning, is volcanic and the oldest mountain in the world, and hugely symbolic to many native peoples around the world.
